It always amuses us highly when we hear of people connecting either Jello Biafra's or our work with "conspiracy". Firstly, a conspiracy is just something you are not aparty to. And this is what we are talking about. We severely doubt any of you are consciously a part of what we are talking about any more than what we are. Yet there you go.
What amuses us most about this track in particular is that we understood its full meaning way back as young punks in 1990. The meaning seemed abundantly clear: Biafra was talking about mobile speed labs. Why was this clear? Because we had heard of the Hell's Angels motorcycle club using the exact same method in our own State, in our own country of Australia, some ten years before (we were just beginning to mature at that formative stage ourselves -- what left the rest of you behind when we can at least lay claim to living in a cultural backwater? Good speed though...).
Now if you watch the prime time TV show, 'Breaking Bad', the media is all-over it: mobile speed labs, chemistry running 24 hours a day on the freeway. So it is looking like the mass media is finally waking up? Shall we all serve you all breakfast? As Biafra said: "When people are asleep we must all become alarm clocks..."
